Pastor of Teaching
Mark Turner
Mark loves Jesus and has devoted his life to serving the church and fulfilling the Great Commission. He has worn many hats in his years of ministry from video producer and worship leader to professor and preacher. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary (B.A.) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., Ph.D.). Mark served as a family pastor in Virginia for a decade before moving to Philly to plant Redemption Heights Church. Mark is married to Whitney. They have three sons (Jackson, Joshua, and Adam) and a daughter (Abigail). He loves comedy, music, books, sports, and more but his greatest desire is to proclaim the awe-inspiring and life-changing truth of God’s Word.
Pastor of Discipleship
James Walker
James grew up outside of D.C. and studied psychology at the College of William and Mary. He also holds a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Before moving to Philadelphia, he spent several years serving in college ministry in southeastern Virginia. James is passionate about teaching God’s Word and seeing lives transformed by the gospel. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing games, and catching the latest movie.
Director of Family Ministry
Morgan Crocker
Morgan loves Jesus and is passionate about helping the next generation know and follow Him. She has served in a variety of roles, including worship leader, camp staffer, Resident Director, and now Director of Family Ministry at Redemption Heights Church. A graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University (B.M., M.O.L.), Morgan felt called to Philadelphia after serving with Fuge Camps and seeing firsthand the deep spiritual and physical needs in the Overbrook community. She helps oversee RH Kids, Ad Fontes Youth, and the Agape College Ministry, approaching each with a heart for discipleship and authentic relationships. Morgan enjoys weightlifting, music, discovering new coffee shops, and running.
